Baylor, Texas Face Off in Top-15 Men’s Hoops Showdown

Plus, a doubleheader in the NBA with Nets-Lakers and Hawks-Blazers.

The Super Bowl is set! The Eagles and Chiefs will square off in what should be an exciting showdown in just under two weeks to wrap up football season. Until then, there’s plenty of basketball to tune in for. Today’s slate features a top-15 men’s showdown between Texas and Baylor; plus, there are some intriguing games in the NBA worth watching.

Here’s what I’m watching today.

MUST WATCH:

Baylor forward Jalen Bridges

Men’s CBB: No. 11 Baylor at No. 10 Texas

The Big 12 is college basketball’s best conference, and proved it yet again Saturday by winning the SEC/Big 12 Challenge, 7–3. Baylor and Texas are two top contenders for the league’s regular-season title on the men’s side, and they meet tonight in Austin with tons on the line. The Longhorns are pushing for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament despite in-season turmoil after coach Chris Beard was fired due to felony domestic violence charges. Meanwhile, Baylor has bounced back from a slow start to conference play with six consecutive wins, including knocking off Arkansas over the weekend.
